Located next to the picturesque Wyrley and Essington Canal, every dog receives our top rated care in our heated indoor kennels, with music, CCTV, comfy beds and fluffy bedding changed every day, lots of extras to add on meaning our guests are tired and fulfilled at the end of every day.

COUNTRYSIDE ADVENTURE WALKS

We are lucky to be situated next to Wyrley and Essington canal, with some beautiful woodland walks to the rear, meaning we can make the most of it with a picturesque walk on top of your dogs three plays out in their exercise play paddocks every day.

FUN AND FITNESS SWIMMING LESSONS

We offer fun and fitness swimming and water play sessions in with your dogs stay in our heated swimming pool, including a hot shower and shampoo after.

DOG SPA GROOMING

We offer a luxurious pamper in our dog grooming spa before pick up, so your best friend can be sparkling, smelling beautiful and shed free on pick up.

CANINE CARE STAFF

We have our other Care Staff who you will see cleaning and playing with dogs in our paddocks in the background when youre dropping off or picking up. These guys, although not poart of our front of house team, are an essential part of K9 Core, and are important in fostering a secure and enjoyable atmosphere for all of our canine visitors, ensuring that every dog feels cherished and comfortable during their stay with us.

Jess is a remarkable professional with a passion for canine care and training. With an impressive repertoire of over 50 different qualifications, she specializes in police & HMP dogs, with her skilled work recognized nationwide. Her specialization lies in the breeding and training of police dogs, currently in license all over the country, making her an invaluable asset at K9 Core. With her extensive knowledge and experience, you can trust that your furry friends will receive the utmost care and attention during their visits,

Veterinary Physiotherapist

Megan is one of our Veterinary Physiotherapists. With a strong educational background in Veterinary Physiotherapy, her expertise in canine anatomy and physiology, along with her dedication to providing safe and effective care, makes her a fantastic part of our team.

Megan is not only passionate about animal care, but she is also deeply committed to animal welfare. She understands the importance of building trust with both our furry patients and their owners, ensuring a calm and positive environment for everyone involved.


Karen Mooney

Dog Care Staff and Front of House

Karen is the head of house behind our Canine Care Boarding Team at K9 Core! With her extensive expertise and passion for animal welfare, she plays a vital role in the smooth day-to-day operations of our kennels.

Karen holds impressive qualifications, including a Level 3 in Canine Care and Welfare, Level 4 in Advanced Dog Grooming, and several Level 3 awards in Animal Care, Dog Grooming, Holistic Health for Canines, as well as Pet First Aid and CPR. Additionally, she is certified in Kennel Assistant and Management, ensuring that our furry friends receive the best care possible.

Saffy Wright BSc (Hons) MNAVP AHPR

Veterinary Physiotherapist

Saffy is one of our Veterinary Physiotherapists. As an accredited clinical educator (ACE), Saffy has contributed to the education of future veterinary professionals at Harper Adams University.

With a strong focus on orthopaedic, soft tissue, and spinal rehabilitation, Saffy is passionate about optimising healing, restoring function, and preventing secondary issues. Her success stories include helping neurological cases, such as a quadriplegic dog who is now ambulatory, highlighting her dedication to achieving positive outcomes.
